Do you deliver to non-local addresses?

To make sure we are as sustainable as possible we only deliver locally within a 17km radius of the farm- but we can make exceptions for large orders. If the postcode checker says you are outside our delivery area, but you are still keen to buy, use the Contact page or email us at pinkcactusveg@gmail.com with your order details and address. We'll get back to you straight away!

Can I choose my delivery time?

Yes, just add your required delivery day or time to your order note.

Do I have to be home to receive my order?

No, when you check out, add your safe-place instructions to your order note. We do advise that your safe place be somewhere out of the rain if possible, we will always try to leave your food somewhere protected from the weather.

Is everything you sell organic?

Everything we sell is grown organically, using Soil Association-approved organic fertilisers and methods of pest control, such as insect mesh and nematodes. The site we grow on has not been treated with any herbicides or pesticides for the past 14 years, and our mushrooms are grown on a mixture of organic soybean hulls and untreated sawdust. We don't yet carry the Soil Association kitemark as it takes at least two years to be registered, but we'll be working towards registration in the coming months.

Is everything you sell grown locally?

Yes. Unlike many veg box schemes, everything we sell comes directly from our own market garden. The only exception is potatoes, which we buy fresh from a local, certified organic grower.

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?

We very rarely miss a delivery, so don’t panic if your veg are a bit late. But if you're worried, please ring or text us on 07443 538225. We’ll find out what has happened and try to put it right ASAP.

Why did my veg box contain something different to the list I saw when I ordered?

With fresh organic produce, bad weather or crop damage mean that sometimes things can change at the last moment. If you've created your own box and we're unable to deliver what you've ordered for any reason, we will get in touch to let you know and arrange a refund. However if you've ordered our pre-picked veg box, we may occasionally substitute one type of veg for another.
